A lonely man, with trembling knees,
In crowds, he’s lost, and no one sees,
The fear and doubt that grips his soul,
As every step feels like a toll.
His mind is loud, but his voice is hushed,
His heart beats fast, yet his lips are crushed,
He longs to speak, to share his plight,
But social norms have dimmed his light.
Among the faces, he feels alone,
A stranger in a world unknown,
For none can grasp his inner strife,
Or hear the screams within his life.
He yearns for solace, peace of mind,
A place where he can truly find,
A kindred soul who’ll understand,
And hold his hand through fear’s demand.
Yet still he walks, though scared and fraught,
For hope within him never stops,
He’ll face his fears, despite the pain,
And slowly break anxiety’s chains.
