Someday I’ll love Maitreyo Bhattacharya

October 17, 2018 • Maitreyo Bhattacharya • Male • 29 • New Delhi

Mait, it’s okay,

you have made it this far, you’ll be fine.

You have crossed oceans for strangers,

keep crossing rivers, it’s okay

if you drown, you’ll come up

on the surface like many times before.

I know mait, you’re afraid of drowning,

no one understands,

swimming isn’t the only way to keep afloat.

Memories float too,

let’s drown for now,

remember?

it’s okay if you don’t,

water doesn’t hold anything,

it keeps throwing back.

Mait, can you hear me?

It’s okay, I know you are drowning.
